A very personal piece for me. Peonies with Bendy Stems, representing my hypermobile Ehlers Danlos, a connective tissue disease that makes my joints bendy and loose. Stems are stretched and coming loose from the blooms as the bend and twist into the glass jar. Represents the beauty as I navigate medical issues.
The blooms are bright pink with vivid green stems and leaves. Off set by the transparent blues and grays of the vase and water.
