My focus is on expressive, modern florals, inspired by my love of nature, vibrant flowers, and the beauty of living in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Flowers remind me of warm spring days spent in the sunshine or long lazy summer days at the lake, the beach or outdoors. Simple happiness.
I’ve been painting with watercolor for more than twenty years. Over the years, I’ve developed my own style and techniques. I add fine details that create texture and movement, while bringing a modern twist to the watercolor medium.
My paintings take several hours of layering and detailed brushwork to get the look I want.
For a while, life took me in other directions—motherhood and my career in the medical field—but art was always a passion I couldn’t shake. When I recently faced health challenges, I turned to painting to help me through the rehabilitation process, and it brought me so much joy.
Art is healing and rewarding for me.
I hope viewers and collectors can feel the uplifting energy of my pieces through the bright colors and floral subjects. I want collectors to truly enjoy the pieces they choose for their space and appreciate the charm of watercolor and the magical beauty of flowers.

In The Studio
A peek into my studio! I like to work in the sun as much as possible. I use Arches cotton paper, Winsor & Newton professional paint and DaVinci brushes.
Most of my works take many hours to complete, using fine brushes to add to small details to each petal as well as layers of color to give the vibrance.
